Finally attempted our 'year old' list of dream theater songs recently and okay, i wouldnt say it was fantastically fantastic, but i would say there was some progress ha. after the routined tracks, we started venturing into the more lounge-like music and it sound sexy. all we need now is to dedicate more time i see great potetial. dohh

The studio we went to was practically shit. starting from the hi hats, which actually sounded pretty awesome, were not working properly. the snare was kinda screwed up with the mesh partially frayed, and their bass was padded beyond padding. the ride was weird, although the cymbals gave a very very nice sounding atmosphere.

just remind me never to go there again...

moving on, yes hady won the singapore idol. "eat that qoo. ha". finally justice in singapore idol, where the better singer actually makes it all the way up and wins, although i would say jonathan does look more like an idol than hady, ha ha. i never actually followed singapore idol (caught less than 4 episodes), however everytime i do, Jacintha Abisheganaden's comments never fails to put me into a hysterical uncontrollable chuckle...

now, if i could just get that cd out of my computer...
